Helmut Lang

The Helmut Lang fashion brand was created by Austrian fashion designer Helmut Lang (born 1956) in 1986. One of fashion’s most independent and visionary minds, Helmut Lang’s utilitarian designs came to define the 90’s. Throughout his almost 30 year tenure in fashion, he consistently challenged the industry’s embedded rules and became one of its pivotal leaders.

The Helmut Lang brand still exists today, but has been carried on without Mr. Lang's involvement since 2005.
